my daughter is a slender 9she doesn;t care for the word "skinny") tomboyish thirteen eyar old and by my estimation she;s about 6 months to a eyar from starting to cycle. (got small breast buds and some pubic hair now.)
if anyone here has a little cottage industry sewing cloth menstrual pads that would fit a slender, active young woman, and maybe a nice-looking pouch to go with, I;d rather buy them from you...let me know. I;m really busy with school and work right now and ym sewing maching is sort of a mess...I;d like to have them for her to take on her Outward Bound trip to Costa Rica by may. 9sje graduates 8th grade in june)...eve if she isn;t quite 'ready." she's very willing to use clothies but not interested in formal, even "alternative" ceremonies.
thanks!

Re: anyone make cloth menstrual pads here?
Wed, January 9, 2008 - 3:39 PMI don't make them, but my grandmother showed me how and has told a bajillion stories about "how things used to be before". I've tried a few and found websites for Luna and another that has a "mini"

I hope you find what works for your family :) She's going to love her trip to Costa Rica too! -
